The Franklin River Walk

The Franklin River Walk is located within the Wild Rivers National Park beside the Lyell Highway 62 kms from Queenstown, or 26 Kms from Derwent Bridge when traveling from Hobart to Queenstown.
The Walk is level and well constructed and maintained, and only takes around twenty minutes. The photo (Below Left), shows a section of the walkway overlooking the Junction of the Surprise River with the Franklin
The photo (Below Right), is a view of the Franklin River see from the walk.
   

Seen Right, is another section of the walkway. The walkway is a circular track that pass's through rainforest and has side tracks leading to the Franklin river.
