The Lynchford Station is the first Station along the line from Queenstown. Lynchford was originally the sight of several gold mines and small township. It has the store rebuilt along with a Gold Panning area, where travellers can try their hand at panning for gold. There is access to several mine shafts in the area for people to explore while there

Passengers can purchase a bag of Ore from the store, and then use it in the water tanks to pan the gold from it. Each bag is said to obtain at least a few Gold Specks. The gold found is then put into small clear tubes to take home.
