| The Town of Queenstown is located in what is called the Queen River Valley. The photo (Above, Left), shows the main area or Northern end of the town.The lake that can partly seen at top right of photo, is the Mt Lyell Company's settlement Ponds, and is ajacent to the Town's Airstrip. The Photo (Above Right), Was Taken from the Sumit of Mt Owen. This shows most of the Town, with the Airstrip seen in the centre of the photo. |

Photo (Above Left) shows the Town's Famous Gravel Football Ground.
The Ground is still use by the local Australian Rules Football Club,"
The Queenstown Crows". The
photo (Above Right) is a view of The Queen River Vally on a winters
morning; Queenstown is under there somewhere. |
