Ticket Box at the Queenstown Station is a Timber Carriage. This has
been built out of Tasmanian Timbers and is adjacent to the Souvenir
shop, and Cafe/Coffee shop. The Photo (Right) shows a view of the Ticket Box at Queenstown Station. |

The Photo (Left), Shows ABT No 3 Engine heading through Queenstown on it's way to Dubbil Barril Station. All the Carriages used on the line are all brand new and purpose built for the railway. They have all been fitted out in Tasmanian timbers and are all built in a Heritage style. When taking a trip on the railway, passengers are given a description of the history of the ABT from the on board Staff |
The photo (Right), shows a close-up of the Rack Rail section. The Steam Engine has a Cog Wheel that engages with this rail, to pull its-self up the steep section of line. |
